Lodging

This is the traditional inn of Japan known as a Ryokan.  Generally cheaper than a hotel because it is usually family owned and operated.  Very simple:  a table, some hide-away storage and room for futons - all on tatami flooring.  Honestly, the most comfortable sleep you will ever have!
